Life updates!

Thank God for auto-remember password things because there is a good chance that I wouldn't have been able to log back into this thing!

So, back in April Frankie (the dog) somehow managed to get out of his crate while Cade and I were at work and he decided that his chew toy for the day would be my DSLR. There was definitely yelling, several tears and one bad dog that was in his crate the whole entire evening/night. Totally non-functionable and left for dead was my favorite and most expensive toy. Those things are expensive too so there was no way that I could just go to the store and get a new one. It was something I'd have to save up for which... when planning for a wedding you don't really have an opportunity to save up for anything other than said wedding. Long story short, it was going to be (and was) a while before I could take good quality photo's again.

Fast forward to this past Wednesday (which is in the middle of July) - I had an opportunity to get a new DSLR and I took it! Not only did I get a brand new camera, but I got a better version than my "old" one. I am still in love and taking every chance I get to snap a few pictures. I am mostly thankful that I was able to get my new camera before the wedding/honeymoon! (Plus, Cade and I are going on quite a few trips in the coming months so this is EXTREMELY perfect timing).

Anyway, here are some pictures with my new favorite DSLR. Enjoy!

I have somewhere around 13-14 tomatoes in my garden but have NO clue when to pick them... I'll have to do some research soon because they're getting big now.

Dill! (pickles)

Cade got me a little table-top tripod so I was practicing while he was taking his fish oil vitamins. We took a few pictures just for fun but I actually really liked the quality of this one.

Sir Franklin played ALL day with his buddies (Max &  Brutus) which means he slept ALL evening.

Those puppy dog eyes. Not for long though... Someone turns one next month and according to his vet, that is when they are no longer consider "puppies", but... I don't like that. I think he will no longer be a puppy when I say so.

(this guy is going to be my husband next weekend. Lucky me!)

This was kind of perfect timing. As soon as we got home from our bike trip this little fella was hanging out on the flowers by our door. I hope we see him again soon! I'd like to get some better pictures.

Next weekend is OUR WEDDING (!!!!!!) followed by our honeymoon. I can't wait to share all the pictures. Stay tuned!
