Veterans Day // Thank you!

A couple months ago my mom and I went to the Brimfield Parade for Veterans. It was really an honor to see just how many men and women have fought for this country. I always have been thankful and I always will be, but considering tomorrow is a day of recognition towards the Veterans I've decided that I will dedicate a post to them! 

So many people showed up to support our Veterans. I loved it!

A local company made hundreds of these signs and donated them to Brimfield to use for the parade. That was pretty neat of them!

All the injured veterans rode that ^^ bus. I could go on and on about how amazing these people are, but keep in mind that many have sacrificed their lives as well as body parts or any sort of damage to themselves. And those who've made it through still have a smile on their faces. Thank God for those people. We need more of those people.

I am lucky enough to know and love many family and friends who have served this country (and are still serving) and if any of you are reading this, then THANK YOU! You are braver than me and deserve everything great. I know a simple blog post doesn't show a lot of appreciation compared to what you are doing but just know that I am thankful for you everyday!

What I'm currently loving...

In doing some blogging homework (secretly admiring a lot of popular blogs) I've noticed that bloggers do a ... blog segment? Series?.. Recurring post?.. However you want to call it, I've decided I want to do that too! And what better than showing everyone what I am currently in love with?

So in case you were curious (which I'm sure you were!). Here is what I really love lately.

The leaves are changing colors. I love this beautiful season.

Starbucks started using the red cups. And they've added Peppermint Mocha's to the menu. (My all time favorite drink from Starbucks... ALL TIME FAVORITE!)

I CAN WEAR HATS AND GLOVES! Guys, hats AND gloves.

I really love that this woman took time out of her day to take a little hike with me. She's awesome. And she is a more truer definition of a Mom than you will ever find. 

...and finally, I love that it is already almost the weekend. I can definitely use a couple days off.

Here is what's going on! // My great weekend.

This weekend has been a perfect one! The right amount of relaxing (much needed) and being productive! On Friday night I got to be the proudest older sister in the entire world and watch my brother graduate from Med School. He is going to be the best paramedic this entire world has ever met. Hands down! I'm so proud of you, Gary! Even though you're my only brother, you're my favorite brother!

Yeah... That ^ Up there is a real life squirrel. Guys, I've been trying for weeks to get an up close pictures. Apparently today was that day. Thank you, Squirrel!

Those flowers are hanging on for dear life. I decided to snap the last of their beauty for the season!

The reservoir is really low so you can walk out where the water would normally be 3-4 feet.
