Call me crazy // Pursue Family/Couple/Senior Pictures!!

I feel like I'm becoming more and more comfortable with my camera. I may not know every nook and cranny about it, but I'm figuring it out. I've decided that I want to try my hand at photography of humans! I've realized I love capturing moments, or emotion, or happiness... Whatever it is, it's something that I know is going to mean a lot to someone for a very long time.

I just recently played around with photographing some friends of mine and I kind of love the way they've turned out. I know that photography is a want and not a need and in this economy it's the last thing people want to spend money on... Well considering I am new to this, and I really, thoroughly enjoy it, I've decided that I want to do more... I want picture your life! (at a very, very, very low cost... Did I mention a very low cost?)

HALLOWEEN!

Kent held it's Halloween festivities last night and let me tell you... There were some great costumes! Cade and I dressed up as a Lumberjack and Lumberjill and went over to Clinton's house to partake in Halloween fun! After seeing all the crazy/fun/creative costumes, I think Kent should have Halloween twice a year! (Maybe, like in 6 months... Deal?)

^^A lot of "Manly" costumes were seen last night. I was proud to be a part of that!^^

 Halloween was a success and it's almost over (I guess the real Halloween isn't over yet...) But you all know what the day after Halloween brings, right? THE HOLIDAYS!!!! So, bring it on Thanksgiving and Christmas!

I LOVE FALL!! The leaves, the chills, the crisp air... All of it. I know that come middle of winter or next summer I am going to look back on these photos and wish that I could jump into them.

Whoever invented colds deserves a swift kick in the butt. With that being said... I have a cold. It's keeping me from doing fun things like... School! (Just kidding.) But really, I decided it was probably in my best interest to not get my fellow classmates sick so I did them all a favor and stayed home tonight. 

Anyways, because I haven't had a chance to get out and do anything fun I decided I would just show you some pictures that I really love of my cutest little cousins, Charlie and Gracie!

I've found in my very short time of enjoying photographing that kids are by far the best thing to take pictures of. It's like every picture you take of them is a candid photo... And the best part is that they don't immediately ask if they can see the picture after you take it.. because they don't care! They just act themselves and let you capture it. For that, I am truly grateful!

He told me before I took this picture that he would pause in the jump so that I could take a picture of him in the air. He really did too! *wink wink*

A bonfire // My Sweetest.

So, if you can't tell... I am maybe-sometimes too in love with my new camera! Friday night my family had a little bonfire and I decided that I would try out some neat things with the bonfire. I like the way they turned out so I figured I'd show them off!

Also, I guess yesterday was "Sweetest Day" and even though I think he's the sweetest everyday (barf) I thought I'd throw out an "I love you Cade and thanks for being the sweetest." 

Boston Part II

Finally! I've been so busy since I've been back from Boston with school and work. So after three days of vacancy, enjoy my part two!

I rode public transportation for the first time in my whole life! ^^

I have to type this super silently because Cade is sleeping right next me, but I wanted to express how grateful I am to be surrounded by the people I have around me and how excited I am that I get these types of opportunities to explore new cities.
